Can someone tell me something positive about the HCG Diet, please? I am a diabetic with neuropathy and desperately needs to lose some weight. I am on a lot of insulin, which seems to be hampering my weight loss and I have Charcot feet with 17 screws helping to hold up my collapsed right metatarsal bones. If the HCG Diet is safe and could help me to lose some weight I will try it so that my health will improve.

Diet and Exercise

Okay, I have had a rough two weeks.  Not much exercising since I hurt my feet and not much to eat because of loss of appetite.  So, of course, all this affected my weight loss.  I feel a little better today so I hope to start my program again from tomorrow.

Weight Loss

Although my ailing feet did not allow me to exercise for the last few days, I made sure to eat less calories and I recorded another pound loss today.  So my weight loss for the last 2 weeks since I started the program is 5 pounds!  That is encouraging as I have not done that for a long time!

My plan was messed up for the last 3 days.  I had to rest from exercising and I had to eat more food than was planned to facilitate medications.  I hope to restart tomorrow and be more careful about the exercises that I choose.

Weight Loss

I did not exercise yesterday nor today because my left knee is giving way and my right foot with the displaced metatarsal bones partly rejoined with screws is causing a little pain.  I have bandaged them and I am resting hoping to be able to workout a little tomorrow.  However, I ate within my diet plan so this morning I noticed that although I did not lose any more weight, I did not put on either.  I might have to look for more exercises that can be done off my feet.

I did not record any weight loss today but I have noticed a little reduction in my waist, chest, abdomen and hip measurements.

This morning I weighed one pound less again.  I am practising to eat less calories and move more.  I feel hungry just before bedtime as I go to bed late and then I have to take insulin before I sleep.  As a result, I have divided my calories into 6 small meals from today.  That will allow me a bedtime snack.

Well, I have lost another pound.  That adds up to four pounds lost in the first week (4 days) I might not be able to workout today as we are about to go to the supermarket.  It is a pity that I cannot include that kind of activity on my exercise plan because I move around on my wheelchair or the electrical cart at the stores whenever we go shopping.

I have just completed my workout for the day and I am proud of myself.  I did Pilates for 30 minutes after breakfast and the strength training exercises for one hour after lunch. 

Come on you all.  Let us all try a little harder and we will succeed in improving our health and our lives in general.  My determination and self-motivation are controlling my attitude to make this plan work for me.

Workouts, rest and weight loss

I did not work out yesterday because I had exercised so much the day before that it was advisable to rest and exercise every other day and my weight loss will continue once I eat according to my diet plan.  I lost another pound when I weighed in today.  So I plan on practising this rythmn when I feel sick, tired, or have to go out.
