Yes you buy the CDs and follow the routine on the videos, logging your progress as you go. required equipment is minimal and fairly inexpensive. In this video he uses weights but there are high quality bands available which are much cheaper and there are alternate versions of every exercise in the videos. I started out with bands and moved up to heavier weights as my requirements and pocketbook allowed. I found a good PDF file of the routines online and use that to log all my reps plus I put the daily workout order into a word document for quick reference incase I forget where I am in the routine. There are also a bunch of different diet plans with some recipes included all based on your body type and goals. I havent used any of the diet plans because I eat whatever my wife makes and tells me to eat hehe. I had been doing the CDs for a while and am now getting back into them. The exercises do work and if you have joint injuries like I do, you can do the alternate versions for some of the high impact exercises. Trust me it's a good workout either way

so from what I can see you buy the DVDs and use the workouts on them along with the schedule from the website or in the manual.
