10 lbs in 10 wks - week 5
Started at 214 now 213.5 looking sad. Something has got to give.

Week 5 already?
I am doing well. I started at 213 and am now at 194. It's not been easy, but I am making progress, 50lbs more to go. I had a couple of weeks where nothing happened, and I have a tendancy to not do so well on the weekends, but that just means I have to work harder during the week...

Frustrated with #'s
I'm up to a loss of 9.7 lbs.

Frustrated that things are slowing down, each lb is getting harder and taking more time. I'm hoping that I'm just retaining water and that I'll see a good drop by the end of the week rather than the 1.5 lb gained from last weekend - and I was good last weekend? WTF, Either way, I'm almost at the goal for this challenge, and getting closer to my personal goal - 45 more to go!

I've had a couple of weeks where nothing was happening, then I seemed to hit another wave where I lost Lbs again. No matter how frustrating and disheartening it gets, don't quit now, sounds like you've made some great progress.

I've found it so hard not to focus on the numbers, and there's days where I get so depressed, whether its counting the calories, the minutes working out, or the lbs lost... but I just have to keep that end goal in mind, and grin and push through.

Beginning weight 186 --Current weight 180
Need to weight 176 to meet the challenge.
This 10 pounds in 10 weeks is what you call a "REALISTIC" goal. We fail our achievements because we set goals that are too high to for us to reach. Even though you might not think 1 pound per week is much, we all seem to be struggling with it. Just by virtue of being a women complicates matters!! We must focus on the END of the challenge and try not to be disheartened by are weekly results. Fellow dieters.... HOLD YOUR FORKS UP HIGH .... and say it with me..... "I WILL FORGE AHEAD" "I AM NOT ALONE" !!!!
