50-100 lbs to lose support thread
Hi I just started today. I was at MFP (myfitnesspal) for over a year. I'm interested in people who need to lose 50-100 lbs so I started a thread.
So far I love this site, and changing sites seems to be good for motivation! :)
Let's support each other!

Want to lose 50 to 75 lbs
I just signed up this morning. I need to lose at least 50 lbs but would like to lose 75 to get to my ideal weight. I am a single woman and have no support at home. Really need that, specially in the evenings. This is the first time I have tried online support for this. Hoping it works. I am willing to join you.

Looking to lose 50
I found this site through google, hoping it would help me get motivated. I am 19 and I lost quite a bit of weight in high school through sports (I had always been overweight), but I went off to college and gained a freshman 40 since I am not involved in sports anymore. I really dislike my body and eating habits, and just want the old me back. I am hoping that this site will help me stay on track. I have been on it for about 3 days and so far so good. I would love to lose 50 lbs and be in better shape then I was even before college. Fingers crossed!!

Welcome Y'all!
It's a great place for support, and motivation...but you will need to stay strong and hang in there and be patient. It doesn't happen overnight...but it will happen...I am still chipping away at it, it is a lifelong battle-but worth it. Track your food intake-it will help you know where you are at in the craziness that is weight loss, and fitness. Track your workouts, and be sure to weigh in!
Hope you all have success here!

50# Goal
i started out at the beginning of the summer with 50 lbs to loose. now i am down to 43. hoping for a total 10# loss by the end of summer. i believe i can do it. i find it to be easier when i have a kitchen filled with the right foods. this week i had to eat take out alot and it just messes my tracking up. continue to track carbs & calories works for me.

Keeping Track of the foods I eat
Hi
I just started again on this site, I am going to track the foods I eat and try to keep my calorie intake between 1500-1600 calories per day. I will track and see how it goes. I walk daily, but, I have always walked. I will start working out in a gym in a couple of weeks, any suggestions, I would appreciate.
Enjoy and good luck
