chronic pain
Hi Nonna - I am 51 and also live in chronic pain. moderate to severe degenerative disease in my spine, mild scoliosis in upper and lower spine and basic arthritis problems everywhere. had a hip replacement at 48. need to take off 50 pounds to take the pressure off my lower spine, hips, knees etc. wish me luck. this site really is helpful. hope you are having a good day today!!

dear nonna you just received alot of great advice, i am about to add my 2 cents

i am in same position as you but with 2 broken feet (in cast) what i do is walk slowly and constanly around walmart and i do strongly recomend chair yoga, this has helped me with the pain in back and hip. hope this helps donna

Thanks, everyone for sharing your experience. My mother has a similar problem - back pain in her lower back and doctors say she has to do some exercise regularly but it's hard for her to keep going through the pain. Maybe your experience will help her start doing this as well
