no 13 miles
I'm being realistic I dont think I'd be ready for 26.2 miles yet, maybe in 1 1/2-2yrs maybe.

Beginer's runner challege
The challenege consist of just tracking how much time you jog/run each day. After you join the challenge when you place the time it into the workout tracker each day the time adds up showing you how many hours each person jog/ran each day. It's going to very interesting and I'm sure fun the top people win bragging rights but everyone gets fit and better in the end.

cool idea
Great way for me to get back into running. I've run a few 5k's and a 4 miler but there are quite a few runners in my family. A half by Oct 2013 is more than doable. If you run consistently, you'll probably find you can move your goal up if you so desire. I definitely recommend doing the half before jumping right into the full though.

They usually have a few 3k'sand 5k's in my area every few months I plan to start with those first and work my way up.
