i can help
first you should be so proud of yourself for losing how much weight you have lost! THAT IS AN AMAZING ACCOMPLISHMENT THAT SHOULDNT BE OVERLOOKED..... secondly, i have a goal weight for instants of 150. i bought an amazing dress that was the size i wanted to be. everyday before a meal i went and looked at the dress. saw how great it looked and how awesome it would look on me. before excersising i looked at it and it made me remember all the sweat i am going to go throu and all the grumbles my tummy will go throu putting on that dress is going to make it all worth it. if you can see your goal it motivates you to do better.... :) best of luck...

I think I can help
First off congrats on the weight loss you have accomplished this far. One thing to do is if you can help it, only keep good for you foods in your house, so when you want to eat all you have is something healthy, which can still be tasty. I eat constantly, even if its just out of boredom, so I have learned to reach for the banana or some homemade vegetable soup that is super tasty and super filling. Another thing is 20 minutes before you eat drink a glass of ice cold water, it helps to fill you you, and you might realize that you weren't hungry at all. And if you really feel like you need something chocolate or sweet, have something like sugar free fat free jello pudding made with fat free milk, or a serving of peanut butter with celerary stalks. They are still yummy foods but in small amounts can fight off the craving. :) I've tried all of this and I am starting to notice that I am full more often, and when I see the numbers on the scale going down I feel more motivated to stick with it :)

Be sure you are eating enough...
Great tips so far!! :)

I want to add that it is important that you don't starve yourself. Make sure your calorie deficit is not too much or it will backfire and cause your weight to plateau or even increase!

Track your weight, diet and workouts as accurately as possible then use the "My Progress" page and look at "Net Calories"...

A very general guideline is
** -800 net calories for aggressive weight loss (no more than 7 days in a row)
** -500 net calories for safer weight loss (up to 23 days)
** zero net calories for metabolism recovery- if you continue to lose weight while you are at zero net calories, add 100 calories a day until you start to maintain a consistent weight- this 'teaches' your metabolism what 'normal' calorie intake is and prevents "Starvation Mode" from setting in. (do this for 14 to 30 days)

I have been very successful with these guidelines... it provides slow steady weight loss and encourages FAT loss... not MUSCLE loss :)

It also prepared me to maintain my healthy weight.
