Am I the only one out there that loves fruit???? Do I really have to be concerned about the carbs in fruit?

Eating Fruit
Forgot to mention that I'm addicted to apples!! They're suppose to be good for you--fiber-- and GREAT for regulating the body! Try them

I am a fellow fruit addict!
I love fruits too. I don't think carbs in fruit is as important as sugar is! I know there are fruits that are lower/higher in the glycemic index and the lower on the glycemic index the fruit is the less calories it tends to have too. Of course, mangos happen to be my favorite and they are very high in sugar (being a tropical fruit) they're also extremely high in fiber. So, eating them is beneficial from time to time.

fruit
I don't worry too much about the carbs and sugar in fruit. The fiber is key and I look for "added" sugar in my foods not the naturally occurring sugar in fruit :)

mangos
I like fresh mango. I find them challenging to peal so sometimes I eat the peal. I looked it up and the peal is safe to eat for most people but a few have an allergic reaction to mango peal that is similar to poison ivy so test it out first :)

Berries
This time of year I eat fresh strawberries by the pound! :) All year long I eat frozen berries... I put them in yogurt and oatmeal. I am not super concerned with the naturally occurring sugar in fruit.

Sadly I'm more for these types of fruits, the more the better. Limes, Lemons....so tasty....so bad for teeth....gah
