Get Fit TV--what happened to it?????????
At one time I lived by Get Fit TV but it changed its programming to Discovery channel. Did they think that people didn't watch their exercise programs? Paid extra but realized that I already had the Discovery Channel for free so dropped the extra charge and Get Fit TV went with it! Guess these producers just don't get it!

What happened to Fit TV
I remember that drama well. Discovery had purchased Fit TV a few years before. As it turned out, they had plans even back then to destroy it. They never even bothered ordering Neilsen ratings for it. But they turned down several offers to buy it.

Then, when Oprah Winfrey contracted with Discovery to do OWN they gave her the space occupied by Discovery Health and moved that programming to Fit TV and pushed what was left of the Fit TV programming to early morning (3-6 a.m. here on the West Coast.) and the rest of the day was filled with their bleh. The channel is called Discovery Fit & Health, with the fit part now confined to 3-4 a.m. with Gilad.

I no longer subscribe to Discovery Fit and Health, needless to say. Don't waste your money unless you like medical freak shows. OWN is on the same tier as DFH so I don't get that either. Big deal. You could contact Discovery Networks about it but thousands and thousands have and they've ignored us.
