Good verses Bad
Ever wondered why we make good food choices? Is it please someone, or feel good about doing the right thing, or to be like or accepted only to realize that we're never going to make the right choice always, let alone please everyone every time and give into the bad, or to put down some bad feelings, or to push against the pressure from others and ourselves to eat right and just say" I'm eatin it". I'm beginning to think it's important to notice the circumstances leading to both good and bad choices, as a bellwether for decisions to celebrate or avoid like the plaque. I guess this isn't really advice but do you think it matters where you were mentally/emotionally before the choice good or bad? What say you all?

Easier to resist.
It's easier now for me to resist goodies brought into work and I don't feel bad about it. Eating healthy is a lifestyle now.

The emotional/mental side of the whole process is very powerful! Realizing our emotional triggers and our more vulnerable times is KEY to success. Also learning the effects of the toxins in most "treats" and processed "comfort" foods has me on the hunt to find better alternatives and I am more able to refuse the stuff brought in to work, church and social situations by well meaning but nutritionally naive friends. If I really have a desire to eat something like that I know I can create a cleaner healthier alternative in my own kitchen :)

Yes, looks like they are important to him......I'm not a big sweet eater but every now and then I find that just a slice of gum will assist me!
