Having anyone ever pressure u in not losing any more weight?
Hello My name is Angie. I weigh 220 and this is my second week on fitclick. I love it. In one week i lost 5lbs. It has made my life a lot easier to keep check on what i eat. I have a problem. One of my friends want me to stop dieting. He has been putting a lot of pressure on me. I have lost 50 lbs in the last two years. I am confused. I don't want to worry my friend. Any advice?

Hi, Angie....
I know what you are feeling! I have lost like 30 pounds since July. I just want to be healthy. My husband and I got married in July as well, and I want to be a healthy weight when it is time for us to have children one day. My mom is always telling me I dont need to lose anymore weight, I am getting carried away. To keep her from worrying, I let her know how well i am feeling, how much better I am feeling, I let her know I am doing it for me not for any other reason. I am at 198 right now, and i feel i am too heavy for me. I mean things get harder as you get heavier, its harder to move or do things and i dont want to continue this way. Just let your friend know why you are doing it. Let him know what it means to you!
Sorry I cant offer any more advice than this!

Hi Drena
Thank you for your advise. I will tell him that i am doing it for myself. I also want to have children one day also. I am high risk with my health problems. So i don't want to add being over weight on top of that. Congrats on getting married. I love being married to my hubby. I wish u alot of luck.

friends /family trying to get you off diet
I think you have to remind your self as well as your friend that it is your life, and yes you want to see a change in your size not much else will change. I think our friends and family believe that if we do some thing that will make us feel better about ourselves we will drop them. The only person I would drop is some one who can not agree with my helping myself to a better longer life.
We are not here to please everyone, because you know it is difficult just to please you own self, so tell him this is something you are doing for your self and you expect him to at the very least support you desire to live better, longer
