Entering Excercise...
What are your hobbies/interests. Let those determine how you enter.

If you enjoy the outdoors, let that guide the type of exercise you pick up.

Do you like canoeing, running, hiking swimming, sports, etc. Let your excercise support your hobbies and interests.

When you start, start slow. If you want to get into running, don't try to run a couple of miles the first day. Same with the others. Start off with an exercise lasting about 20 minutes and increase each week. When starting focus more on the time than the task/accomplishment to help build your routine. Its easier to time budget shroter stings and gives you a sense of accomplishment.

Start out small
I personally started with walking. I really like it because there is no start or stop, its a constant which is rather important. Maybe you just start out walking a mile or so. I myself started walking 4 miles a day, lately ive been walking closer to 5 and 6 a day. To add more you could always walk with small weights (like those 1 or 2 lbs ones) or try pilates or yoga. I do some yoga as well and tend to find it rather relaxing and mind opening. Maybe take a class of something. I seem to think a lot of people do well when they are in a group rather than just doing it alone.

Use the Add Exercise links to locate the corresponding exercise in the system. Then enter your actual values, adjust the date if necessary, and click on the submit button.
