It's Not Easy
Hi
I am 61 (almost 62). I have to agree it is not easy. I lost 15 pounds a few years ago using this site. Gained 10 of it back by not being faithful. Now my cholesterol numbers are up and I must get down to at least 130 (125 is my goal). I have a total of 30 or 35 pounds to lose. Seeing a dietician/nutrionist soon to help me figure this all out. Been advised to stay away from animal products and lean towards plant foods. The upside is there are more plant foods around than animal foods. I would love to be a friend of yours on this site.
For exercise, I walk my dog a mile or two every day.

those pounds are there in case of illness maybe?
as we age we can get sick, those extra lbs will come in handy if you fall ill.

Not much to report
after the 2lb loss have stayed the same I'm afraid! doing a bit more exercise and working around the house a lot more on weekends - having a good clear out of rubbish and gardening so that should help.
