How to stay on track...
Hi! New here today. I'm 54 (brain is stuck at 35), and I'm tired of being one of the largest members in my family. My personal life is stressful at the moment, so food is my security blanket-especially ice cream! I work in a convience store that sells deep fried foods, pizza, and ice cream. Anyone in a similar situation? Any help on how to avoid temptation would really be helpful!

That's Tough but Do-able
I don't currently work in a convenience store but managed one for 10 years. I get that it's hard with all that temptation around and without sit down meal time (where I worked) you tend to just snack. I always took a bag of vegetables for that thoughtless quick snacking and then something that included whole-grain like turkey on rye or chicken patty on a whole grain bun. That seemed to fill me up best and stave off the cravings. Also tried to sip on water or diet soda in between. Hope this helps some. You can do it! You're worth the added effort.
