I need some help... I'm getting married soon :(
Hi everyone...

I'm new here and looking for some help.

Background...

Pregnant at 18 gained 120+ lbs(was 110 lbs) lost a little bit of it had another baby 3 years later and gained 50 lbs.

I didn't weight myself for years... 3 years ago I weighed myself and I was 190 lbs OMG btw I'm 5'3"
Being so heavy did a number on my self esteem and I started working out last summer and I'm happy to say that I now weigh 160lbs (40 more to go).

I started out by doing kick boxing and I'm now training for a 10k run. I just completed the first month. The trouble is I havn't lost any weight since Oct/08 . I'm getting really sad because my wedding is in Sept and I don't want to be a beached whale lol I

Hi Waite81,

My friend is sort of in the same boat as you (minus the children).

She'd lost a ton of weight, regained it and then some, got engaged and is now getting married in August. She's about 180 - 190 now (5'4) so she's been kind of down on herself. I don't think she should though because now she's at least trying.

Don't give up! From what you say, you're already at 160 (yay!) and if you lose even only 1 lbs per week til Sept. you'll be down another 15 lbs! One step at a time! You can do it!
