I was wondering...
Although I have been on here for a few years and know many of the long timers, I still have not reached goal due to a problem with physically exercising regularly. I don't do enough "real" working out you know the kind where you do something until you sweat!. I just find it exhausts me and uses what energy I do have.

What my issue is not many understand. I have a chronic condition called peripheral neuropathy. My feet hurt, burn, ache, tingle and are numb whether I stand or sit, walk or stay off them. It has become very debilitating and depressing. Anyway, I still do a number of different types of exercise but the constant pain is getting to me. I am really discouraged b/c I need to still lose abt another 45 lbs. I have lost 40 already.

Any help is welcomed. Except products or spam!
Happy New Year and thanks.

Ugh! It sounds horrible! So sorry you have to deal with this ... I don't know anything about peripheral neuropathy, except for what I have just learned from googling it and checking out various sites listing causes, treatments, etc. I am sure you have spent much time doing the same.

Thanks Wendy. Yup.
Anyway, it was more of a venting...and to get rid of that first spam thread that kept showing up, but I figured I would talk about my problem. It's not even helped with special shoes or socks. In fact, my feet feel best in wide Merrell's but can't wear em now.

It's a pretty awful condition, and it is a constant reminder of the weight I need to lose, I hope losing it will help, however I am told it's an unrelated seperate issue.

Hi Heather! It's stonelove. I've been MIA due to a car accident. I'm back now. I'm sorry to hear about your condition. I feel you on the pain. It's going to take me awhile to get back up to speed. Hang in there girlie!

Eda. Welcome back!
Glad you are okay. I had a feeling something happened. DId you maintain your great loss? Did you suffer any major injuries?
