Just want my body back
Hi all, I am new to the site and just wanted to say hi:)
A little over two years ago I was 130lbs with a BMI of %18.6. I had all that checked out by a physical trainer at CMU. He said then that my major issues were muscle weakness. A little more than a year ago I stopped smoking cold turkey. Now I have gained fat on top of weak muscles.
I am ready to fight to get my younger body back, but am a bit overwhelmed. I really have no excuse as I live in an apartment with a very nice gym pool and I own a bike. I guess I get confused as to what I am supposed to do as far as an exercise programs go and I lose motivation and body soreness sometimes slows me down.
My first step is cutting pop out of my diet for good. As far as foods go I am pretty easy. I love raw fruits and veggies.

It sounds as if you have it on hand and thats a start just start lite 5-10 # using one or two pices that are aware of for the first few weeks and go 1-2 days say tu.thr. then sat do a short ride the thing is build up let your body tell you when to up the weight and watch the others who are there for other ideas to challange yourself
also for the muscles look into a microwave heat roll from drug store it can help with some of the achs and pains
as for the pop congrads!!! Iam on day 18 w/o it

Unfortunately, we don't always manage to get back to the form that we had in our youth or at teenage. I also miss that young, healthy and fit guy I used to be. Sometimes I get very upset and start thinking seriously about doing six pack liposuction, I saw how my stomach looks after the operation and it seems to me that it's really cool.
