LOTS TO LOSE NO SUPPORT
I have so much weight to lose just to be at a healthy weight but I have no support at all. My husband says he will help but he never does. I try to eat healthy but sometimes it is so hard when no one else will. I hope I can lose weight and be healthy and show my 3 year old mommy can still be able to play

you can do it
i know exactly how you feel, its hard for me as well, i am 24 and weigh 210 pounds after 2 children, my husband is a skinny guy so he can eat all day and anything he wants and it just runs through him like water, where as if i reach for that one little cupcake i am almost gaurenteed to gain a pound or two, ok im exaggerating but its kinda like that, its hard to eat healthy because he doesnt eat healthy so im like ok well its either eat what he has or go spend money on subway, which i dont have all the time, i cant cook home meals because we currently dont have a stove due to living arrangments, and when that changes i will be cooking for sure. but i know what you are feeling and ill tell you we can do it, we can get to that weight we desire, just gotta work hard!

Be strong!
I've had to change my diet because of health reasons and it's hard to be strong especially when your spouse or family can eat whatever they want! Luckily I have a boyfriend who loves to cook so I don't have to. His strategy is to cooke items separately, that way he can pile the extras on his plate and I don't have to. My mom eats with us and hates fish (which is the only source of protein for me) so when it is cooked separately she can choose to not grab it. It really helps me to eat right and allows my boyfriend to eat however he wants. The most important thing is portion control! It's SO hard to do, especially because I LOVE the taste of food. But it will SERIOUSLY help you lose weight. Eating small portions more often still allows you to enjoy food. Sometimes, you just have to take matters into your own hands, once you start feeling better (and looking better) your husband will want to join you. Even in the beginning when I wasn't really losing weight because I was gaining muscle, I just felt better and he saw that. I keep journals and count the days I've been to the gym each month. He doesn't like for me to get ahead of him so he has been joining me for every gym sesh. It's definitely easier with support but be strong and stay motivated and you can do it by yourself too! I use this website as a tool as well as find motivation on Pinterest. whatever keeps you eating right and working out :)

I feel your pain!
My husband is the same way. He is very skinny and can eat whatever and whenever he wants, so that alone is very difficult. Another issue is healthy food is so expensive and since neither of us is working right now, I find it hard to be able to by food other than what is already prepared.... We can do this though! If he doesn't show an interest in supporting you, then just let it go. That's what I do. I don't talk about my diet or what exercise I did today. I just go about my business until he brings it up. This is the main reason I look for my support online. The more support I have from ppl going through the same thing, the better. Keep your head up and just do what you need to do! I have no friends or family to turn to with this so I depend on myself and my online supporters.

Losing is easy, we just put stumbling blocks in our own paths.

willpower
It is hard to do it on your own I am in the same place as you. wife and daughter eat what ever they want and gain nothing, after I retired from the navy I gained 10 pounds a year for the last 7 years. I started watching my portions and when to a 1900 calorie a day diet and it helped but i was eating the same junk as everyone else in the house. Until I started cooking my own food and balancing my diet along with burning about 1000 calories a day exercising did the pounds start coming off. Along with that don't watch your wait every day it can be a bummer when you see your wait jumping up and down from day to day or stay the same for 3 days straight after busting you hump on the treadmill all week. Do it weekly or so. Just remember to loose the weight for yourself and not for anyone else.
