Let's brag--where are you in your goal to better health?
I have been at my goal weight for over 6 mths and plan NEVER to gain those 15 lbs back.....I'm much too short to have that extra weight on me. I do hope that you are successful in reaching your weight goal in a sensible way....What's your success story!

YIPEEEE - off the plateau at last - haven't lost anything for 3 weeks but stuck to it - Husband had to work all weekend so I made sure I was extra special good and savoured the moment this morning when I found I had lost 1.5 pounds last week ! I am FINALLY into single figures to reach my goal - Don't care if it is pouring with rain today, I'm in a good mood !!!

Just starting
I wish I could say that I am at where I need to be, but let's be realistic, I am not going to drop 60 lbs in 3 weeks.
I started off at 190 and my goal is 130 (right in the middle of the healthy BMI for my height). In the last 3 weeks I have lost only 3 lbs but I feel a lot better and I think I have found things that work for me (all be it slowly). The rest will just have to come with time.

Hey that's really good - you shouldn't lose weight quickly anyway as it only comes back on just as fast! I live in the UK and found this site by accident but it has helped me so much! Keeping a diary of what you've eaten is this best diet there is - in fact I don't feel as if I am ON a diet at all. Keep going and you will lose those 60 lbs in no time! x

Thanks frantick
I know about the putting weight back on... Oh well we learn from our past mistakes.
And I agree, when I track how much I eat, I know I am getting what my body needs. It makes it so much easier to ignore that munchie feeling I get because I know that I actually do not need any more food.

I've lost 1 pound since starting fitclick
This way seems to be working for me (counting calories) I'm losing inches and I'm into a size 16.

I reached my weight loss goal a couple of months ago. Recently my doctor took me off all my blood pressure medicine. I've been maintaining the loss by exercising daily and tracking my calorie intake each day. I stay active an anywhere I can walk to daily, I do. I walk more than I drive these days.

need improvement. HELP
I lost 60 lbs 3years ago but 2year ago I fell and broke my ribs and gained 10 then 3 months later my husband left dripping trunks on the door knob and I fell and reinjured my ribs another 10. I am finally losting it .10 so far.
My nutrition and exercise have improved BUT my problem is I am a smoker and haven't been able to quit. Sometimes I feel my diet and exercise are for not. But surprisingly for being a smoker I can haul butt up hills.
Any one have suggestions. Scare tactics do not help-my mother-in-law and grandmother died of cancer and my uncle had a lung removed due to cancer
