Looking for some advice
I have a very fast metabolism and it seems no matter what I eat I can't seem to gain much weight. I do workouts from home every 2-3 days and I walk as much as possible. I am wondering what suggestions people have?. I have seen three DR'S and they tell me the chances of really gaining a lot of muscle mass will be difficult as I have that Body type that has a fast metabolism.

Cut back on your cardio and do more weight training. Drink protein shakes and add extra protein at meals.

Thanks for the tips. I wanted to share a bit more about myself.
I started working out off and on about 10 years ago and I am not ashamed to admit I ate allot of junk food (TV Dinners Chips candy etc) I certainly ate other things that are healthy but I had my fair share of bad stuff. Then around 5 years ago I cut back drastically on the junk food and now I rarely eat chips, chocolate bars, drink pop etc. I reach for juice, water and milk instead although mostly I drink water.
Last year after a scare where I had bad chest pains I was told I was told I have a mild form of Congestive Heart disease. At the clinic where I was treated I met with a dietician / exercise specialist I went for a general evaluation and one of my questions was whether or not I was eating too much rice, bread, pasta etc and she explained that if this was your mom and dad I would say yes reduce the amount of breads and pasta you are eating but because you are young and have the body type you do it is ok to eat lots of breads , rice and pasta as long as you eat Whole wheat pasta and rice and look for breads without sugars or additives.
Overall I can do the workouts but I have a hard time doing certain things. 1) I cannot do Situps as they make me very nauseous
2) For the life of me I cannot do allot of pushups without getting tired easily.
My goal is that I want to a photo shoot before my 34th birthday next March as I have allot of body image issues stemming from surgeries I had when I was a kid that left scars on my body.
The last time I saw the specialist I was told that I am gaining weight and muscle mass but to me I still feel and look very skinny and I want to really bulk up and stop looking so skinny.

I love bread.
I have the body type that balloons up and bloats when I eat too many carbs. We are all different.
So sorry to hear of your issue. You mentioned scars? Did you have heart surgery as a child?
Listen, we ALL have scars, some peoples are on the inside. Some are on the outside. Each are painful. But some on here have told me that scars are our trophies of triumph over adversity. Wear them like a badge of honor. Anyone who believes that will surely be okay.

I had a shunt in my head right down to my stomach and so I have a very large scar on the side of my head as well as a scar on my stomach. i also have a weird birth mark on my chest that looks almost like a burn mark or rash that has never gone away.
