Non-Scale Victories!
Ever hear of NSVs or Non-Scale Victories?
What achievements (besides the bathroom scale number) motivate you or indicate success?

Yay!! After I lost the weight, I had a lot of excess skin... especially at stomach and inner thighs. I am working at reducing the "sag" and jiggle and hopefully amount of skin that is hanging on me. It has been 2 1/2 years since I hit goal and I am seeing slow but noticeable improvement. It is REALLY slow but better than going under the knife for a tummy tuck ;)

Feeling healthy with a lot of energy motivates me to keep the weight off I have lost. I was very fortunate not to have any sagging skin due to my weight loss. JJ, congratulations on maintaining your loss for 2 1/2 years!

I know what you mean about the skin!! My stomach is horrible! I refuse to do the tummy tuck option ... so maybe with constant toning and clean eating it will retract by the time I am 80 years old! lol :)

good total blood count readings!
I went to the dr. the day after Easter and had my blood count ran after a 12 hour fast (that was not easy). The blood counts came back as healthy, no diabetes, and no thyroid issues! I work out three to four times a week and log what I eat and stay within that frame;however, the scale will NOT move! Either the scale is talking to the microwave and playing with me or I need to throw it to the curb. . . What do you think?

Are you eating at least 1200 to 1500 calories per day at minimum? According to the My Progress page what is your typical daily calorie deficit?

calories in claories out
yes I do. but like last night I benged on chocolate chip cookies. I know this after dark benging is due to the hormone ghrelin. But today is another day, time to start fresh and avoid the trigger to eat sweets after dinner by eating a healthy snack before bed, thats what I have been doing lately. the bed time snack is a piece of whole grain toast with 2 tsp of nutella and cinnamon on it.

I try to have a daily 12-hour fast between my last bite at night and my first bite at breakfast. That helps fight the evening binges :)
