Shin Splints
I have 2 new pr of shoes. My asics are the worst. The ryka's are a little better. My goal was to run a 1/2 marathon, but I can only walk because of the shin splints. I usually buy Nike, but opted for these. I have a VERY narrow foot. Besides another pair of shoes(other types possibly?), any other advice to cure shin splints? Thank you

Shin Splints Help
When i started running I had shin splints also. Started out wearing asics then found brooks running shoes and they made a huge difference. Ran my first half marathon in October. Brooks have a bunch of different shoes for different gait patterns when running. I'm an overpronator ( my feet tended to roll in when i run) and the style of brooks I got helped correct that and took away my shin splints, pain in my knees and hips. You should check them out. They are pricy but well worth it!!

Never heard of Brooks
I am going to check around and see where I can get them here. I know that I swing my L. leg some when walking/running and I am sure my body mechanics plays a part in it. Thank you for your suggestions. Goodluck on your continuing journey, whatever it may be. Thanks again!
