Shoulder problem
I am looking for a strengthening (core), toning program that will not involve a lot of shoulder work. I am recovering from rotator cuff surgery and still do not have full range of motion nor can a put alot of pressure on the shoulders. I really need to get exercising after spending the past 3 months doing almost nothing.

Core
Look for exercises on your back,

scissor kicks, leg raises, modified jack knife (don't raise your shoulders)...

Shoulder Surgery
The first thing that you should do is get that shoulder back to normal. Rotator cuff recovery is going to be slow. Don't try to do other exercises including core untill you have no pain in your shoulder. Use light weights and work on your shoulders, biceps, triceps, and back. If you feel pain during a specific exercise stop immediately. Any continuation may aggravate an existing injury. Reevaluate your routine to make sure you are doing a proper warm up. Decrease the amount of weight you are lifting. Use proper posture, form and breathe properly. You need your shoulders to do good core exercise. If you work at it you will heal but it takes time.
