Sugars causing high triglycerides-not fats!
Just read an article regarding the truth about sugar. Interesting to learn that a diet high in sugar can raise levels of fats in the bloodstream called triglycerides increasing ones risk for heart disease. I always thought eating lots of fats caused high triglycerides-but it's the sugar! It said the average American eats an average of 147 lbs of added sweetener per person per year! WOW. Also mentions something that happened to me when I came off most white sugar-everything that I used to eat with sugar, will now taste 100 x sweeter! I use stevia once in a while but, although it is 100 natural- it still taste just like an artificial sweetener to me!

I like Trader Joe's Organic Stevia... there is nothing added... only ingredient is stevia extract :)
