protein options I use....
hi there....this is how I get my high protein breakfast...I understand when you say eggs get old quickly...I mix it up a little...I buy egg beaters flavored. The southwestren and Chesse and chives are my favorites. I also like the orignal if I am going to throw in a few things on my own to include left overs from dinner protein choices...I also use landOfrost Canadian Bacon sometimes I have it as a side dishe with my choice of eggs or sometimes I make omlets with it...or I make moon over my hammy with it. I also use tenderlion thinly sliced in the same manner as above. I also use fitnactive turkey bacon same way. I use salmon for breakfast too. I make salmon patties with a side of eggs or I just scrabble the salmon right in to the eggs. watery vegetables like spinach and mushrooms to boost nutrition. Omelets made with smoked salmon and herbs, cream cheese and tomatoes or salsa and Mexican cheese are other egg-based options. I use all types of fresh veggies in my eggs. I make french toast also with the very thin whole wheat bread. just some of the thing I use. I try not to use the powder due to all the processing involved. just my thoughts. I can tell you if your as busy as I am this all takes planning and Organization. I take one day out of the week and chop, dice, slice, store, and label all of the planned veggies. I chop a lot too and some I freeze for later use and some I store in fridge for quick fixes. I also have to allot extra time in the AM for prepration of my breakfast;although none of my options takes over 10 mins. So I get up just 20 mins earlier than norm. to allow myself prep time and also time to eat....I hope you or anyone else finds this useful in some manner....Best wishes...

Greek Yogurt
Greek Yogurt is an excellent source of protein. I use the non-fat plain variety and make different things like smoothies, fruit dips and parfaits.

Smoothie time
One cup frozen fruit, one scoop of muscle milk protein, one cup V-8 fusion, one tbls ground flax seed, 5 grams creatine, 5 grams glutamine. I use muscle milk protein because it taste good. Very filling drink slow also helps not get brain freeze.

Egg Whites and Greek Yogurt
I usually have egg whites every morning and greek yogurt in a smoothie. Both good sources of protein.

Nonfat Plain Greek Yogurt
Try making a parfait with 8 oz plain nonfat greek yogurt (23 g of protein, and only about 120 calories), your favorite berries (blueberries, strawberries are low in sugar), and for crunch add 1/4 c. of Kashi GoLean Crunch cereal. I usually add 1 T. Splenda granules to sweeten the greek yogurt.

The best brand of plain nonfat greek yogurt I have found is Fage, or Chobani will do in a pinch.

Protein
I like:
Everything...but when I want to be healthy:

Light String Cheese
Turkey Sausage
(Turkey Chorizo and black bean burritos)
Smoked Salmon
Low Fat Yogurt
Cottege Cheese
Hummus and tziki (ususally leftovers but good)
Natural Peanut Butter
Nuts

Also, some times i eat a thin loin pork chop for breakfat. I cook on my forman and throw between low calorie bread or those deli thins. Its not greasy, so its easy to eat on the run. I just like it as is, but you could marinate overnight or throw some cheese on if you like.

Breakafast protein
Turkey bacon is also an alternative.... Eggs--- I will scramble only the egg white then make a breakfast buritto with 1/2 Joseph's flax seed flatbread (50 calories) then put salsa, peppers, onions, and sometimes cheddar cheese in moderation! Um Um good
