Rest
Rest and let our bodies do the work. But it is flu and cold season the best remedy is prevention. Was your hands before you eat and don't eat candy out of the office candy bowl. I'm a service tech in malls and resturants I can go years and not get the flu. I know its not a remedy but thats all I got. Have a good day.

Fresh Roasted Garlic
Cut the top off a whole garlic. Drizzle olive oil over the exposed cloves. Bake on a cookie sheet in the oven (or toaster oven) for about 25 minutes at 350. Squeeze out the softened cloves and eat on crackers or as they are. This really make me feel better when I have a cold.

Thanks
I do not have flu or cold but I know others that are. I wash hands often and have flu shots. I know a friend last year had flu shots and use prevention and still got flu. The dr told him that it was a different strand of flu.

cold recipe
1tsp of dried mullein herb
whole bulb of garlic
3 inch chunk of ginger root chopped
boil on stove reduce to simmer for 30 -45 minutes
inhale this steam it will kill bacteria in throat and lung and open up airways
inhale for about 2-5 minutes taking breathing breaks
put 4 tsp of real honey into a coffee mug then pour strained liquid from above into cup stir (the honey will coat your throat and hold the germ fighting properties of the garlic and ginger and reduce inflamation)
enjoy..
also go straight to the store and get liquid vitamin D 1000 iu per drop and take 4-5 when sick other wise 1 drop a day during the winter..
you can also try an echinacea tincture
