a couple of ideas
This is a great site, but there are a few things I'd like to be able to customize:
1. The "supermarket isle" list. My market doesn't sort things the same way yours does, and I may buy some things at different stores (health food store etc.). It would be great to sort my shopping list meaningfully.
2. Nutrients. I'd love to track potassium and monounsaturated fats. I'm sure other people have other things they'd like to track. Can we have a place to add more nutrients?

Shopping list by supermarket & cost?
I agree. I would also like to track shooping by supermarket and by isle.
i.e.,
Trader Joes - frozen
Whole Foods - produce
Fairways - deli
Farmer's Market - <name of booth>
I would also like track cost of an item by supermarket. Sometimes, I have to go to multiple places to purchase all my food. However, I will sometimes make one trip and pay more for a particular item depending on my time availability.
Thanks for considering this option.

Also Track sleep
I would also like to track hours of sleep as sometimes this effects my workouts the next day, and, perhaps also, what I eat also.

tracking cost!
I agree with ericka, tracking cost would be a GERAT option, because its part of planning a grocery trip. And its great for sticking to the budget...

Sorting the grocery list....are you serious?
Honestly. You want this for free, yet you want them to research the thousands of grocery stores so that you can sort your list according to your favorite stores? In my small town there are two Hy-Vee stores. Each store has a different layout. Can you fathom how much time it would take these poor people to research the layout of grocery store across the US just because you can't look through your list yourself as you are going down the aisle?
Unbelievable.

DIY
How about allowing each user to enter the aisle and store so that they wouldn't have to research anything.
