Staying Motivated is Key
I am tackling weight loss as well. I started off the summer great. Up between 5:30 and 6:30 working out. I posted my morning on facebook saying that I was "Reclaiming My Sexy" the second week of working out was great; however I became distracted by workshops, vacation bible school, summer cap and skipped a day. Now into the third week and it has not been good. I have been depressed because sometimes I don't know how to bounce back....My friend in Atlanta and I have been keeping each other motivated by calling each other daily and being realistic about our weight loss goals. My suggestion is to remember that your doing this for yourself and no one can take this one thing from you but you. Don't look for a cheering section....Try to be your own cheerleader. And if nothing else....walk. You are not in this alone...Think of the contestants on Biggest Loser...They struggled and did it...so can you!

motavation
I use music to keep me motativated. I too have had some stumbbling blocks(illness), but Im not going let them keep me from reaching my goals. I wish my husband would join me but he works very hard, but my very fit children have joined me along with 1 friend. Maybe before the summer is over my husband will join us.

fee workouts
I too can not afford any of these expensive workout and weight loss plans but I can afford to drive to the park and walk my butt off(literally). I have been increasing my miles weekly and alternating parks so as not to get bored with the scenery. I also download uplifting music to my phone to listen to while Im walking.

Stay motivated, life happens!
I totally understand the distractions of summer. I have had similar issues the past few weeks. Even on days when I cant find an hour to workout I at least try to find 20-30 minutes. Just keep pluggin and dont give up.

I hate my weight as much as I hate my patched-up Irvine concrete driveway. But have to put up with it because I am also broke as much as you are.
