Directions:  
Heat oil, tomatoes, and lentils, "green or brown" and spices, spinach, (everything), in the pot over medium heat. Mix into it your "quart" crushed tomatoes, also if you wish. Bring to a boil, cover with a vent for the vapors. Stir occasionally. Always check it, can lower to medium low fire. Cook about 90 minutes, more or less depending on tenderness.
