Description: By removing the bread crumbs or rice from traditional stuffed peppers reduces the carbs without loosing the flavor.

Directions:  
preheat oven to 350

Brown ground beef and onions over medium heat then add tomato sauce, chopped garlic salt and pepper to taste.

Remove tops and seeds from peppers then split peppers down one side and place in baking dish. Spoon ground beef mixture into peppers. Drain liquid from diced tomatoes then spoon over top of peppers. Sprinkle shredded cheese on top and bake for 30 minutes until cheese is melted.
