Journey element 2

I think another part of a successful journey is planned cheat meals or days. When you plan it you also plan what to do to minimize the damage as oppossed to never enjoying the not so good for us stuff, then being bogged down with guilt and stuffing down the guilt with more of stuffing our faces!

Journey elements

I'm going to start lising for myself element that comprise a journey in hopes that I will find things along the way that help me continue on a successful lifetime heatlh journey.

The first one that comes to mind is mile markers. Signs to tell us how far we've come and how far we have to go in the present mile. And sometimes people that have made that part of the trip leave signs of what they experienced at that point in the trip.

I don't agree!

Some say that if you or I eat something that is not good for us just once we have lapsed, and if it happens a few times we have relasped and if it happens more than a day or two it's a total collapse! I say it depends on the mind set, if I eat something that's not the healthiest but I have not changed my plans to get and live healthy then i've not lapsed, if I repeat a few times, no relapse, and so on because I not changed my direction i've just hit the normal bumps in road

Balancing healthy habits

I've still some research to do but I'm going to extend my healthy habits to getting naps when I can. It's a little embrassing to confess that I need or want to nap in the middle of the day. I almost 60, so you can image the comments that come to some minds. I could continue on as I have, falling asleep at the computer , and acting like I'm not sleepy/tired, or I can listen to this too, that my body is trying to tell me.
