Started last Tueday. Gone to gym everyday. Almost didn't make it yesterday. Gym closes at 7 pm and the day was filled with necessary errands. Went to the gym at about noon. 45 minutes in fat burn/cardio. almost 2 miles. Various incline and speed to keep heart rate up. 25 minutes to complete the resistance training (machines).
Back home and hungry, hungry. Brocolli, mushrooms and tuna salad. Not sure on calorie count, but no bread. Yet. Planning dinner

I am here at the end of my first week of getting healthy. I am 42, mother of 3 grown teenagers and want to lose weight to feel better about myself. I joined a gym last Tuesday and have been attending with my youngest daughter everyday since. We promised to only weigh ourselves once a week, so I don't know if I have lost anything at all. I am starting at 180 and need to lose about 45-50 pounds. That is a big number, but I guess one pound a at time is how I put it on, so that will have to be how i...
