Wow...I've been doing this thing for three months now.  Dieting everday, working out at least 5 times a week.  Yoga Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday morning.  Hiking now that it's warmer at least once a week.  Even Zumba (I look like a total idiot).

I think I've lost two pounds.

I wish right now I could truly say I'm happier 'cause I'm living a more healthy lifestyle...But I didn't really make a New Year's resolution to be healthier.  I made ...

So, It's true.  I haven't lost much weight: 2lbs really.  It seems carbs will be the death of me!  No matter if their "diet" or not.

My diet's slightly changed.  I've been an on/off again pescatarian for around a year.  It's not the animals that I care about.  (Sounds crass, I know).  I just don't trust the government to regulate my meat.  I certainly don't trust them with my money, but I have no real choice in that matter.  I...

Day Fifty-Eight, Boop-BOOP!

I've lost track of time, weight, center of being, etc.

So I signed up for a 5k in March or April.  I also signed up at the Y...but haven't been yet (sigh).  Will try to go tommorrow after ANOTHER required Saturday workday.

All this stress with progress reports, painting murals with Art Club, NAHS inductions, among many other things is beginning to weigh me down!  I need a workout buddy.

One pound lost, nine more to go!

I have to admit, ever since my last post I've been pretty disenchanted.  I still continued to watch calories and worked-out everyday...but I cut my workouts in half.  I did listen to your comments...medicine may be a factor, and once I saw that number I didn't dare measure anything else.

Day Twenty-Eight

I am so discouraged!!!  I have been dieting and excersising for a month and I haven't lost one freaking pound. Not ONE!

It's not like I don't do it regularly.  I watch my calories everyday.  I go over the recommended calories perhaps twice a week...but I work in an active job, I'm not that sedentary.  I work out SIX days a week.  It's been a MONTH.

Not one damn pound.

Day Twenty-Two

So, it's been a rough week.  I've worked everyday since MLK Holiday to finish up exams and get ready for the new semester.  (I'm even less of a fan of snow these days).  So today was the big day.  I gotta say, I like my classes.  They seem nice;  of course everyone seems nice on the first day.

I've been keeping up with my work-out schedule and eating pretty well.  Very impressed with myself, If I must say so, considering the hectic schedule at work.&

So, I'm pumped.  I mean, I have ate the recommended calories for three days straight, and excercised the past two days....for an hour!  Granted, I'm still jogging in front of the T.V.  Another thing to add...I'm not starving!  At first, I was.  Or, I would just over-eat...but once I get used to "grazing" more and eating smaller portions it really doesn't take all that long to get used too.

Day Sixteen

Today is a day about dreams.  Some dreams are bigger than others, but it's a great day to re-realize what we want in our life and re-commit.  So, I'm trying really hard today.
