I was benching last night and was aiming for 5,5,5 with 160. I had 5, and on the second set got 4 9/10 of the way up! I was 2 inches from being able to rack it for about 5 seconds until the weight came back down on my chest. Luckily I have some people who are hot on their feet in my gym and came to help me ^.^ Lesson learned, it's better to ask for a spotter than have the embarrasement of not being able to get your weight up.
