Multivitamins, bad for you?

 Rating: 5.0/5.0

Half jokingly - I am giving up cardio machines for Lent. Instead of doing warm-up and cardio intervals on a machine (treadmill, stepper, elliptical, etc) lately I've been getting creative w/ body weight pulse-spikers and I feel like I'm working a LOT harder. My metabolism has been up a lot more too, I'm constantly eating and also feeling more lean.

Warm up fav: 50 front kicks, 50 side kicks, 50 pony kicks, alternating legs, resting between sets. + arms: 50 front jabs, 50 uppe...

I have been reading Lou Schuler's book, "The New Rules of Lifting for Women: Lift like a Man, Look like a Goddess", and have decided to start using the workout program in his book beginning Monday, Oct 19th. Had a great workout today - went up on weight, down on reps. Felt like I could have done more reps on everything. This morning checked my measurements and plugged them (and original ones from 2 weeks ago) into livestong.com's BMI calculator - I've lost 6 lbs of fat and gained 5.5 lbs of muscle in TWO WEEKS...this is definitely the fastest I've seen changes in my body, including stints with 3 different trainers.

Warmed up with a 1 mile treadmill run - ran the first 1/2 mile at 5.5 on a 2 i
