Wow! So my husband and I got season passes to Sea World last weekend. I went running earlier than usual today so that we can go to the park tonight before it closes. Boy, I will never do that again! I went for about 3 miles and finished in a good time but the heat was unbearable. Afterwards I went to the weight room and lifted. I'm making progress. Back To It!

After a long relaxing weekend I'm back to working out. I went out on a 2 mile run yesterday and it felt pretty good. Still running about the same pace as last week. Today I did a long easy 30 min run. Not feeling to bad, breathing was fine and overall felt okay. I did some light lifting yesterday, I forgot the code to the weight room, it's been such a long time since I've been over there. I started doing crunches this week too. I think I'm making progress but can't really tell. Maybe this weeken...

I took off yesterday, so I went out for a timed run today. Not too bad, a little slower than anticipated but still a good workout. I'm just glad there was a slight breeze today. Friday is usually Pizza and a Redbox movie night with my husband. Trying to think of a healthy alternative.....Anywho, this was a good workout week. I'm looking forward to next week when I start lifting weights. Hopefully I will begin to see some definition and toning. Well, let the weekend begin!

Argh...seems like nothing is really going right these days. It's been a while since I've been on here. I actually stopped working out for about 5 months. Now I'm back to it. I started out really slowly just walking a couple of laps around the neighborhood. This time I'm alone as my husband works during the day. Things are coming along. Days are starting to go by pretty quickly lately. I can't believe it's already been 2 weeks since we started! Well, so far so good. We didn't get out everyday this week but we were able to work out at least 4 days. I'm feeling pretty good, starting to realize more and more it's about consistency not necessarily intensity all the time. Today was a good day overall. Went to church in the morning then came home did a little bit of work and went out on a run. I'm consistently getting better and have been able to run longer and longer before walking each time. Hopefully soon I will be able to run the whole way without stopping. Ran 2 miles this morning... getting better each time. I was able to make it about 1.5 miles without walking this time. The humidity was killer though. Did some strength training and crunches. Surprised myself this afternoon, I was a little irritated about something at work so when I got home I went out on another run to get the stress out...lol I made it about 1/2 mile then walked a bit. Whew... today it was really humid outside. I did my run for today and learned the value of having a training partner. Usually my husband goes out with me, but he had to work today so I went out alone. It seemed a bit more difficult. I did about 1.2 miles without walking so that's good. I'm already starting to see a slight difference in my appearance, my midsection seems to be toning up a bit which is great. I'll keep doing my crunches!

Today was a good day. I went out on my run and felt much better than last time. I was able to complete the first mile without stopping. We did some strength training today, a lot of legs. It wasn't too bad. I topped it off with crunches and some push-ups which was a challenge but overall, fitness wise today has been good. I am looking forward to seeing some changes and my muscles toning up! Now, I have to figure out what to eat for dinner and maybe need to find some better snacks to munch on dur...

O.k. today went pretty well. We went out and did cardio today. I was planning on doing just a mile but we ended up doing a little closer to 2 miles. It wasn't too bad, but I see I've got a lot of work to do. I am enjoying getting back in shape so far. Tomorrow we hit the gym for strength training. The food is coming along well.
