Wow. Even eating what I think is healthy, the calories add up. Oatmeal with a little brown sugar (1tsp) and maple syrup (1 tblsp), with raisins, sounds healthy right? Wow, with 1/2 cup 2% milk and 1/2 cup water and a little cinnamon.... I was alarmed at almost 400 calories. I can't eat it plain. Thought if I measured just a little sugar it would be okay. 1/4 cup raisins.... 130 calories!!!!!! ugh. This time of the year fresh fruit is soooo expe...

Day two... made another trek to the gym. I feel better when I work out. Should have never stopped. Love the EFX cross trainer. Burns 450 calories in 45 minutes. My goal is to do 45 minutes a day for 5 days, and 60-75 crunches 3 times this week, lift some weights 2 times this week. Did the crunches today so all is well. Tune in for day 3

Boy this eating better stuff is hard. Two days into it and tracking everything I eat, and I can't believe what I have put into my mouth. Need to get the junk outta the house, but am met with resistance from the child. Oreo's my downfall, left over from the chocolate fondue we did for New Years....they sit and call my name...Can't just have one, before you know it you have eaten three. Wow, can't wait till they are gone. Even when I am really being diligent abo...

I have never done this before, so what do I have to lose. It's a new year and I find myself once again struggling to get to a decent weight. Not only for my apperance, but for my health and well being. It is amazing how only a few extra (15) pounds can slow you down. I guess I shouldn't complain, some people have three times that to lose. I haven't made any resolutions, save one.... the same I make every year... to get healthy and eat better while getting more...
