Another rough week. I lost 1.5 pounds. I can't be upset though. Not yet. I followed my plan and after even more reading I think my plan is solid. My brother suggested that I might not be eating enough but I do not know about that. That makes 106.5 since last April and and 47.5 since December 1.
I need to increase my exercise. That is pretty obvious. I wish I had a healthy back. My goal of 30 pounds for January is not looking possible at this point.
Bummer.

I lost only 2.5 pounds last week. When it slows down is when I have self destructed in the past. It starts to get in my head.....and soon I am at the drive thru of the Burger King.
I won't fall for it this time "my head."
I made a small change in my food plan. After I realized I was not eating any grains I have added brown rice and red beans to a meal. I have also cut out 1/2 of the salad dressing.

So my plan has been working and that has made me happy. At the beginning I set some goals. One was pretty small when considering the distance I need to travel to be successful.
A few years back my little brother gave me a Milwaukee Brewers jacket. It was the largest one he could buy goal and it was not even close.
My goal was to fit into it before next season started. Forty-five days early and that baby fits.
I found out that the value in a goal is how it makes you feel.

I am going to treat myself to a sweet Tuna Steak tonight in honor of a great new year.
Things are going very good with the plan. I lost 47.5 pounds this month. I gave myself a goal of 40 so I am pretty happy.
The best thing so far is I feel I am learning some about eating correctly. Thank you google. I have settled into a good rotation of food that ends up around 1500 calories per day.
I do have some issues with the exercise due to my back problems. I have found a program on the exercis...

I lost 10 pounds this week. I am thankful for that. That makes 76 total.
The thing that I hope to do different this time is to learn about what I am doing.
This week I realized that my 20 year mint habit was costing me 600-800 calories per day.
Wow.
I switched to tic tacs at about 30 calories per day. Sweet.
I am shooting for 2000 calories a day and averaged 1650 this week.
Things are looking up.

Hi there. So here is my story. I am a 41 year old guy. I have been very overweight my entire life. When starting this journey in June I weighed 525 pounds and I am 6'1". I lost 55 pounds and then fell off and gained some back. Two weeks ago I was at 485 and decided to get serious again. It isn't the first time but I plan for it to be the last.
