I feel better

It has been a month since I have realized that I mindlessly chew at night on sweets.  Well I still have lost no weight nor inches, I am working out feverishly, yet still nothing.  Maybe I need better vitamins-I feel so in the dark about what to do for an aging body that does not have the get up and go like it used to.  With that said though, I feel better  that I am not just mindlessly chewing at night.

I see changes happening!

Today I woke up nad looked at myself and I see my waist is getting smaller, my bingo wings (lol) are smaller too!  I have decided to add a controlled evening snack after dinner- a protein and carbohydrate choice.  It really helps me control from putting other items that are sugary in my mouth.  I also feel great waking up in the morning and knowing I did not pig out before bed the night before.  This is great!

Seeing things from a different light

Today is July 4th.  This morning I finished a flag cheesecake and when I was smearing frosting all over it, I did not have a desire to eat any of the cool whip frosting.  I was so proud of my self in that moment!  I felt like I had put food in it's rightful place in my life.  I was post workout and had already eaten my post workout snack that consisted of greek yogurt and strawberries. I have come to realize that when I workout the day after I am raveniously starving.  I eat my regular snacks and meals but I am still left wanting more food.  I know my matabolism is kicked up a notch when I exercise which causes the hunger.  However, today after a long productive workout yesterday, I want more food; but today I am  taking my brain with me.  I chose to eat my normal lunch and be satisfied.  I waited-being hungry but I only ate my lunch and not
