It's pretty hard to get away from things you love to eat. For me, it's sweets...especially chocolate. What can I say? I'm a true woman who loves to indulge.
People tend to say 'just stop eating it' but, it's not that easy. It's not like I'm a bad eater and it's not like all I do is sit around and eat chocolate bars all day but, It's hard to say no all the time!
For example, yesterday after a long 12 hour shift (and fabulous eating may I add) I went home and took a nap. When I was half awake, and starving I ran down to the kitchen to grab some sort of snack. Although I've ridded my home of most temptations I still have baking ingredients for when I make things for work or want to try a new recipe. So you know what I grabbed? The white chocolate chips. And I ate them...1/4 of a bag remained but I ate it all. I felt bad. very bad but it was so delicious.
It didn't hit me how bad it really was until I loaded into my diet section of fitclick. Ended up being almost ALL the fat for a full day in these miniature pleasures. Hopefully I will think twice next time.
