Texas Half Marathon Countdown - 146 Days

Today was the second weekend where we did a long training run/walk. Today the total distance was ten miles with four miles of that actually being running (or at least that peculiar run/walk/run pattern that Galloway and Bingham promote). To get the distance we cover the Wolf River path twice. After the first time through we grab a snack from a cooler in the car, refresh our water, and then head to the second phase. It's working nicely. Other things that are working are wearing light running running shirts and capri tights; using a Camelbak hydration unit; and using the Garmin 305.
I burned today, so I need to remember to apply sunscreen in the future. Also we're both quite fatigued and our muscles are sore. I'm hoping that this is a good thing and that it means we are building muscles that will power us through the half marathon in January.
