So, this is my 100th or 101th time trying to lose weight.  As far back as I remember, my weight has always fluctuated.  Sometimes I don't even have to try and the weight comes off, and other times no matter how hard I try the weight packs on... mostly around my tummy.  I have grown to hate how I look in the mirror without clothes on.  I believe I am a beautiful and intelligent woman, and those around me think my self-esteem is through the roof... it isn't.
This struggle with my weight ends today; OR, should I say BEGINS today!  I know that weight loss is not easy.  I know I may have to sacrifice a couple of minutes wrapped up in my cozy bed and begin to exercise.  The funny thing about it is that I almost ALWAYS wake up at least 30 minutes before my alarm rings and I just lay in the bed until it's time to get ready for work.  I know I must resist the call of the 'sacred' McDouble and settle for a healthier homemade turkey burger on a whole wheat brioche with carmelized onions and green peppers (hm... actually sounds better than the McDoub).
I weighed myself this morning, knowing that I went over the 200 lb mark... fortunately I didn't (ha, 195 lbs).  My goal weight is still above the recommended BMI for my age and height (165 lbs) but I am sure that once I am there I will be a lot healthier and happier with the me that stares back in the mirror.  SO, here I am.   "Fiyah Diamond" the 195 lb Woman with a Goal.  30 lbs in 4 months.  1.7 lbs down a week.  WISH ME LUCK!
