so i just completed my first week of recorded diet and workouts on this site, and i have to say its been time consuming!  Now that i have the hang of it, things should get easier.  I've noticed that the choice meal plans offer some good clues as to what sorts of things i could incorporate into my diet, but for now i've pretty much just put the usual things i eat there to see how many calories i've been eating.  i'm surprised that i'm not even eating 2000 calories a day; subtracting my workout calories (300-450) i'm only getting about 1300 to 1400 a day!  I'm a 6'1'' 210 poung guy, i should be losing weight at this rate.  I think i have been but i've lost fat and gained muscle over the las 1/2 year (im guessing ive lost 10 of fat and gained as much in muscle...which means i've been pretty much at the same weight) Anyway, my goal will be to lose the 5-10 of fat i have around my mid section and replace with as much in muscle in my thighs, arms and chest.  I want enough muscle to burn fat and see my abs within the next 1/2 year.  This is a lifestyle change, so i'm going slow. I should be around 205-215 range with defined muscle mass to be happy. More importantly, i want a diet of healthy food that supports my health to stay out of the doctors office.
