Motivation
At little about me. In the last 3 years I went from size 8 to size 14 due to some big changes in my life. (Relocated, marriage, starting a new business). Now that all of this is behind me I am ready to lose the weight. I have already lost 6 lbs in 2 weeks. That is excellent for me. How can I consistantly continue losing 3 lbs per week? I work as a cook so it is really a challenge for me. I know there are alot of you who have successfully accomplished your goals who would be willing to share your suggestions. My goal is to lose 30 lbs by June. (I turn the big "40") but my long time goal is to maintainmy weight as a size 8. Thank you everyone in advance.

A little discouraged right now
Hi! I have been going through the same thing. I went on a health regime about ten years ago after having had two children and went from a size 16 to a size 6 however when my father's cancer returned and a few years later we lost him my weight returned. (I know have three children...all boys and all in hockey). I almost had a nervous breakdown and I now suffer from panic disorder. I have been battling losing weight and really need to because I have back problems as well. I really need some motivation or something...anything that would help. I am new to this site and haven't been able to get very far because whenever I try to add a friend or something it sends me back to the home page. I'm not sure what's going on but I'm feeling discouraged already. Any help out there?

I undrstand
I know what you are going through. I went from a size 8 to a 16 within months after a loved one passed away. I have a son and a husband who refuse to eat healthy. This makes it hard for me to eat healthy and now I'm having a hard time loosing it. Keep it up though. I sure am trying.
