Weight Watchers
I've done WW before so am pretty familiar with their program. I would like to do something on FitClick so I don't have to pay out the bucks. Is there any weight loss program here that is similar to WW? Any advice? Thank you!

weight watchers
I've done weight watchers too in the past, so much so I feel like an expert sometimes....If you are used to the point system in weight watchers, I found that 1 point usually equals about 100 or so calories, veggies and fruits 50 cals and under are usually free foods, etc, you might want to check the calorie count on the back of their meals to get an idea of how many points for calories, I have recently lost 35 lbs using fit click, keeping the weight watchers principles in mind, just watching portion size, your goal with fit click is to eat under the number they have for your BMR. I use smaller plates and measure pretty much everything, if I am having pasta I make sure it is a cup. I find this actually easier than worrying about points and I didn't have to spend alot of money. I wish you luck and if you need any help let me know, this is a journey for me, I still have alot to loose, but I am for the first time in a long time proud of myself, and I hope the same for you.

Sometimes accountability to someone else helps. I belong to an organization called TOPS (take off lbs sensilbly). In as much as it empasizes portion control and a balanced diet it fits pretty well with this site.

We meet once a week and weigh in. So accountability is there. Some of us need that type of accountability. In as much as one of the oringinal members of TOPS (in 1947) left and started weight watchers it is a pretty successful organization.

The cost is 26 dollars a year and then minimal monthly dues (usually no more then 5 dollars, depending on your specific chapter.

The camaraderie and support of the other members is motivational in itself. You can google TOPS if you are interested. The Website is TOPS.org.

This site.
This site is extremely comprehensive. I started with the weight portions.

Goto diet tracker and click on the meal you want to record. There press add a food and select what you have eaten. After a few meals this should fall into place.

Then select different topics from the menu and just get familier with them. It does take a little while to learn all the features but if you start small and add a little each week or day (depending on your progress) it does all come together. At least that is what i did.
