Moving and Working

So I started going through the entire house yesterday to start packing and to get rid of things we won't be taking. I never realized how much stuff we have. I still need to get a bunch of boxes in order to keep packing, and while I need to have the house done in a week, I have to work all this week too which really cuts down on the time that I have. Guess I'll just be super tired this week and try to catch up on sleep later. That seems like the only way I'm going to be able to manage this. I won...

Easy days off

So yesterday was my day off and I went swimming, excellent day. It was hot and the water was warm enough to be comfortable and I got to spend the day splashing around with my 5 year old and my 5 year old niece. I guess running after two kids all day is considered exercise but oh well it was fun for me. Today is another day that I don't have to work so I'll probably spend the day packing for the move. Well at least I'll keep busy.

Work out at work

Wow, I really didn't realize exactly how demanding my job is physically. I literally walk about five miles a day at work just getting around the warehouse, and add to that I lift two pound boxes all day and have to lean down to put them on the line. Instead of leaning I'm doing squats which is putting me doing about 1300 squats and curls every day as well as the walking. WOW! I guess I won't have to worry about losing weight anymore, or getting in a workout at the gym or at home. I think I'll tr...

This will be the first day of my night shift work and I'm really hoping it goes well. I know I'll be getting in a lot of walking. The average per shift is five miles according to their statistics. So at least I'll get something done. Got the information for my daughters school start done today too so at least I have that chore done as well. Takes a lot off my mind. Hopefully things will all work out now.

I wonder how much stress effects my weight

Right now I'm feeling a bit stressed out by pretty much everything. My husband is working out of town and I miss him terribly. My grandparents (both in their 80s) have been in and out of the hospital for the last 6 months and things really aren't looking any better for them. I started work this week after being a stay at home mother for 6 months, and am trying to make sure my little girl knows everything she needs for kindergarten this fall. Add to it that I'm moving in a few weeks. Is it any wo...

Fun times at Work

So I really think I'm going to like my new job. It's not just another crappy desk job or even a good desk job like my last few. Its actually up and active. Yeah I know it's a warehouse and ten hour shifts are going to suck, but at the same point that's 10 hours that I'm going to be up and walking constantly. Talk about a workout, and of course there are stairs everywhere which adds to it. I want to go get me a cheap pedometer to see how much I walk every day, I really don't want to log a 10 hour...

Back again lol

So with all the stress thats been going on lately, I haven't been on here in forever. Literally it's been months. Going through custody issues, relocation issues, work problems, health issues for family members, any and everything you can think of has probably happened and built upon itself until it became a never ending spiral of Murphy's Law. So I decided to quit complaining and get my rear in gear and do what I need to do for my own health and happiness rather than just sitting around worryin...

Good Day.....Mostly

So today was pretty good, took my daughter and niece to the science center, and had a great day with them there! The only bad part is the rain makes my knee hurt and after three hours of taking two four year olds around a three floor museum my knee was killing me. Literally, when I got home I had to break out my crutches for the first time in months. Really wish this would stop, its been three years since the accident and I've never stopped trying to get my strength back but it still bothers me....

So I didn't completely fall out, but there's been a lot going on lately. I'm just so mortally tired of everything right now. I just can't seem to get back into rhythm. I guess what I'm trying to do now is try to do some hardcore exercising in order to get back in the groove and hopefully blow off some steam too. Maybe today is a good day to do some kick boxing......

Well I got over my few day sabbatical. Had a few days that I was feeling under the weather and lazy with it. Trying to take it slow today just to keep myself feeling better rather than setting myself back. Really slow start today, got to feeling better and got up and about around noon. Got a beautiful set of orchids for valentines day too. That perked me up in a heartbeat, lol.
