I'm back!!!  Everytime I am ready to begin again, and I think about tracking my progress, I think of FITCLICK!!!

So I was maintaining my weightloss for a good little while until I broke my toe...and followed that up by going on a two week vacation.

Now I am embarking on 2012 and I want to be in full swing when I get there.  It usually takes me a week or two to get going.  My life is in a bit of disarray with school, work, relocation a

So moving right along.....making weekly adjustments is the best way not to feel overwhelmed with diet changes (at least for me).  Instead of removing everything tasty in life and creating cultrure shock, I make one simple change a week until I'm eating a near perfect diet before I know it. For example, take a week and cut out white bread and white pasta.  Switch over to whole wheat and see how it goes.  You have 7 days to get use to the idea and then think about your next chang

DAY 91

Today I am 9 days into my 100 day program, and I feel the difference in my energy and body.  Yesterday I learned how much sleep is important to your weightloss.  Not only when you are sleep deprived do you have a hard time functioning, but your disposition is off.  I know I'm hungry and cranky and want to feed my way back to energy and that is bad for business.  I went to bed early (against every thing I believe) and I felt much better the next day.  More in control, mor...

So today's blog is about inner peace.  Finding peace within your self can be a difficult task because we are usually harder on ourselves than other's.  We expect perfection in some areas of our lives and allow certain things (such as weight) to spiral out of control.  I considered being a good mother far more important than anything else I can do in life.  While it's an important job, if I am not at peace or in love with myself, I won't be able to love my children fully and a...

So things are starting to move and I begin to introduce more cardio and pilates.  Found out last night I'm planning a wedding shower.  I have OCD so I can't stop thinking about it right now, racing with ideas, but in my opinion u can use whatevers wrong with you to your advantage.  Figure out a way to incorporate your problem to become the solution.  So my OCD will work for exercise and charting in Fitclick and watching what I eat.  Planning this shower will become ...

When begining your weightlos journey, you need to slowly remove all bad habbits which include bad people that bring you down.  Not everyone has your best interest at heart, and may be belittling you just to see you fail.  You may not even realize how they effect you until that 20lbs has creeped back on and your miserble wondering why.  And please don't misunderstand, this can be men and women, opposite sex and same sex, all hoping to see you fail.

So what do you do?...

I believe that persistence is the key to anything.  With weight loss however it's the only way to succeed.  Forgiving yourself for having to start over is the first step.  It matters not how many times you fall off the horse, if you keep getting back on, you will eventually find success.  Each time you get back on that horse, remember what helped you be successful before, and what distracted you from your pervious goal.  Give it a shot to intercept those things again. Ok, so I'm in the gym and because of my addictive personality type I am not doing way more work than I have to.  Two hours of cardio and any weight machine that is available.   Because I don't want to pay for a trainer, and don't think I will like someone standing over me telling me I can when I know I can't, I decided to look it up on my own. What I found out is there are 3 different body types.  I fall under the category of Endomorph.  What that mea...

Diets Suck

Friday, February 19, 2010 at 10:43 AM filed under Weight Loss postings
My weightloss jouney is far from over, but what I have learned is diets suck.  In my opinion the best way to loose weight continuously and keep it off is to eat in a way you can eat for the rest of  your life.  Meaning, I can take the italian sausage out of my speghetti and replace it with chicken breats and be ok with that.  If I choose to have a taste of sausage I can return to my regular healthy routine and not feel like I'm missing something.  I cook with light butte...
