This is a test...

So friends, I’m facing a dilemma next week.  We are eating out for our staff meeting at work and the place we are going doesn’t make nutritional content public, at least not online…I don’t want to eat totally badly, however, it is possible that I could order something that I think is going to be ok calorie wise and have it actually be terrible…you know how restaurants like to do that kind of thing!

I already have a cheat day planned for Sunday when I go to the Zac Brown Band concert (YAY! so excited for that!)  so I really don’t want to have another one 2 days later…My husband suggested that I eat very little the rest of the day so that dinner won’t impact my whole day too badly…I could do that to an extent but I’m not going to skip other meals.

This is the menu I’m working with: http://www.buffalobluespittsburgh.com/eat.html

Last time we went there, I got the BBQ Salmon sandwich and sweet potato fries…This time I know I’d be better off staying away from the fries…I remember also last time so wanting to eat other people’s food…Eating out while eating healthy is tough stuff!!!!  I'm thinking maybe the black bean soup & half of a sandwich? Or the salmon sandwich again with a healthier side?  Not sure what to do....the worst part is that I know that the people I'm with won't all be trying to be healthy so I will be without my support system! This is a test for sure!

Anyone have any good tips for situations like this, or suggestions from the menu (besides salads...I'm not a big fan)?
