Overview of drywall lifting devices

The plasterboard lifter is specially designed to make the work of artisans easier. If the installation is one-time or the amount of repair is small, then you can install the sheet with one assistant. For regular use, it makes sense to purchase a special device or rent it.

The purpose of the lift

Ease of use lies in the fact that during installation, the gypsum board is tightly pressed against the frame (or directly against the ceiling / wall) in a precisely specified place. The master does not need to adjust or align the parts, it is enough to screw in the self-tapping screws. You do not have to simultaneously hold a Drywall Panel sheet or call for help from a partner.

Situations in which it is difficult to do without a lift:

Installation of large structures using heavy-weight panels.
Installation of an air conditioner, duct or massive chandelier.
Transportation, supply, support of individual elements of the frame and other building materials in hard-to-reach places. It is convenient to install and fix profile guides.

Installation of drywall using a level (water or laser level). The device is fixed on a lift with clamps, then raised to a predetermined height. Such a device allows you to make an ideal marking of the corners and ceiling in the room.
