Isometric Barbell Curl

START: Grab an empty barbell with an underhand, shoulder-width grip and let it hang at arms length in front of your hips. Stand tall with your feet shoulder-width apart.

MOVEMENT: Without moving your upper arms, bend your elbows and curl the bar toward your shoulders until your forearms are parallel to the floor. Hold this position for 45 seconds, then slowly lower the weight back to the starting position.
